We're Ready for the Season!

ALL POND WELLS REPAIRED, INSTALLED, FUNCTIONING!

In order to have our gunning ponds totally functional for the upcoming season we have – installed a brand new well for the Home Farm Pond, put down a new deep-water well pump for the Hester Barrett Farm Pond and installed an ice eater in the brand-new Hanson Farm Pond.  Field blinds are nice and sometimes very productive, we have plenty of those too – but gunning ponds are the magic to make a waterfowl hunt truly productive.  This investment is to insure that your hunt with us is the best on the Eastern Shore.

MIGRATORY GOOSE, DUCK, DEER

All our parties are offered a threesome for the upcoming season.  Not only migratory Atlantic Population Canada Geese, ducks as well and afternoon Northern Whitetail Deer hunting on our properties – all for one price.  Further, we are NOT hunting the ducks (we have done plantings in and around the ponds with preferred duck food) until the Canada Goose season opens on December 20th.  Currently, on our ponds we are seeing Mallards, Black Ducks, Redheads, and a smattering of Teal and Spoons.  We anticipate these numbers to increase as the migration begins.

WE ONLY TAKE TWO BLINDS PER DAY

AND – one blind is still available for the opening days of December 20 and 21st (Fri. & Sat.) Call 252 394-5171 or email gwteal1@gmail.com.

BRING THE FAMILY

Our Lodge is very nice and historic Chestertown is only ten minutes away with unique shops, restaurants and all the amenities.  The Old Dairy Barn has games, displays, old decoys and so on and the rolling landscape of Kent County is simply beautiful.  Lodge rates include bringing the family at no additional cost.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU

Call 252 394-5171 or email us @ gwteal1@gmail.com for more information or any questions you have.

Bob & Dorothy Hester
