The migratory population of Canada Geese on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is steadily increasing. This good news comes with an important update for hunters: the daily limit per person is now two birds.

Season Dates and Limits

The 2026/27 Canada Goose season on the Eastern Shore is split into two periods:

November 24 to November 27
December 15 to January 30

During these dates, hunters may harvest two birds per day per person. This limit reflects the healthy population growth.

Sea Duck Hunts Also Available
