NEW POND COMPLETED

Thanks to the hard work of our “Pondmeister”, Thomas Tucker and his crew, with the help of his son Tommy, the new Hanson Farm Pond has been completed. This large pond of approximately 1.4 acres is now seeded and ready for rainfall to fill. This is the second pond on the Hanson Farm and Tommy will install a new half-pit blind in the coming weeks. There are many thousands of geese that utilize this area, and the Hanson Farm will even more become a migratory “goose haven” for our Wild Wings Maryland hunters.

NOW TO THE HOME FARM

The Pondmeister will now move to the Home Farm and begin construction of the new pond in the “bottom”. This will be a beautiful addition to the already powerful Home Farm goose hunting. So, that will be two ponds on the Home Farm and another half-pit will be installed to compliment the other three blinds there.

ON THE MOVE

Last year we completely renovated the Barrett Farm Pond including a new well. We purchased and installed a new pond on the Little Farm (which yielded limit hunts last year). Wild Wings Maryland is serious about making our hunting the best on the Atlantic Flyway. It takes a lot of $$ and hard work but when you hunt with us, you will see we are serious about what we do.

BEST GUIDES ALIVE

Head Guide Tommy Tucker – Guides, Dave McFarland and Patrick Miles are the very best in the business. All three are native Eastern Shoremen and a serious Pro Team that know all the hard work and dedication it takes to make your hunts enjoyable and successful.

PROPOSED SEASON SET

Maryland DNR has set the “proposed” season for 2022/23. With very few exceptions over the years, these dates will be the dates for the upcoming season: Dec. 17 – Jan. 2 and Jan. 13 – Jan. 31. Give us a call to set your dates for migratory Canada Goose hunting on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

LODGE, BUNKHOUSE, GUIDE SHACK, AND MORE

You will find our accommodations very nice and perfect for your experience. Further, we have renovated the Dairy Barn to include waterfowling displays, games and a fun place to relax after the hunt. All this is located on the Home Farm where you will see thousands of geese during your stay. And don’t forget historic Chestertown with cool restaurants and shops and everything you will need just minutes away.
